I think the kid should really consider corner. He'll be good regardless, but I have a feeling he'll be even more dynamic on defense.
 
From his interviews he seems to prefer playing receiver by a large margin , that and early playing time seem to be his selling points .
 
AG should just play the game and tell him what he wants to hear to get him to sign...period. Then you can deal with things when he gets here. I know he wont do that though.
 
if the kid feels he is a WR he should go to a team that lets him play WR even if its FIU.. but i don't think pie could play for al golden kid has to much swagg and that a violation of team rules....

He actually is playing the game. he f'd early though and was recruiting as a DB and then changed his tune once he realized he wasnt having none of that.

He'll do great at FIU and at other places as well. He's talented but I do think db is his money making position.
 
Could be one of those Marquise Lee types. Lee was a beast at WR at USC and went in the early rounds, but if he had played DB he had the potential to be a Top 10 pick.

Lee was a unique situation. The guy broke records at wide out. I don't know about top 10 because I don't see him producing at the same level at db as he did at wide receiver.

Could you image all the ballers that may have come here had Al played the game from the get go?
 
I think Bama is kinda of out of the conversation now since they want him at DB and have so many WRs ahead of him
