If Larry Scott is able to finish up strong ..

The fact is that even if he wins out, he's not ready for this job full time. That said, he's put himself in a nice position: he's shown that he belongs on a future UM staff and might even be a contender for a lower-tier HC job.

We should keep him on staff as interim-coach-in-waiting.

He's proven he can work the interim position and when we fire the next guy after 1.5 seasons, he can resume his role.

The question was whether he would get a look at UCF not here. I think he should get a look there. He can motivate. He's well thought of by his players. I think I'd like to see him retained here too (as TE coach, not HC, of course), or at least that should be considered.

Scott has done a tremendous job with the TE position. Next guy should keep him on the staff.

On the list of things we need to do to rebuild the program, Larry Scott's future is # 121 .

Respect what he has done but just being the Interim Head Coach will help his career as much or more as being retained in some capacity.

Please---- Let's give the next guy at least 2.5 seasons with no buyout..
