IF Miami parts ways with Diaz and hires Kiffin, Cristobal or any other HC, what's the likelihood that any of Lashlee, Hickson, Robinson, Simpson are retained?

Lashlee has brought in best QB room in Miami in 30 years.

Hickson has brought in top talent through his whole tenure with Chaney & Rooster being two of the best Since Duke (Lingard was 5*, but didnt pan out)

Robinson proven track record of developing elite studs that play at next level, and quickly got commitments from multiple elite DB's

Simpson has often been praised as best coach on staff, while identifying and teaching up solid D lines. (JHH groomed, LT, Willis, Nesta, Mcintosh, etc)

O line play has improved a lot, on top of having the most talent in that room in the longest time as well.

Thoughts?....

Field and DVD will probably be retained in recruiting roles. Likens is also a very strong coach and has relationships with set up already. Other than that I have a tough time seeing anybody retained.

Im all for a clean sweep, but I wouldn't be against any of those 3 being retained, especially TRob since we didn't get an actual year from him with this staph.

Cristobal and Field worked together in Oregon for a little bit didnt they?

I like Hickson, DVD and since Mario knows Fields im sure he would keep him. Not too attached to anyone else although Lashlee I think repaired his reputation and will probably get another OC gig for a mid level P5 program. Hes really done wonders with TVD. Im actually happy for him. Might have gotten a bad rap and not his fault. He **** sure almost saved Mannys job.

If it's Mario, I think he keeps Field because he brought him out to oregon at one point. I'm guessing that relationship is still good. I think keeping one of the local guys would be a smart move. DVD, cooney or some combo thereof will be kept on imo. Outside of maybe someone like Likens/Hickson - who have a pretty good rep iirc - the rest probably gone. TRob will just probably jump to an SEC team although I'd like to keep him.

Virtually no chance, though I would prefer Lashlee's offense over what I have seen out of Oregon under Cristobal.

Lashlee has gotten more out of TVD than Oregon got out of Herbert relative to expectations, which is mind-blowing, and both conferences suck.

OTOH, a Cristobal constructed OL makes Lashlees short yardage calls a lot less annoying.

Clean house, get rid of everybody.

And if Mario is the Master recruiter yall say he is, he doesn’t need to keep Field, DVD or Cooney or any of them in a recruiting role, just based off his name alone we should have all the 4/5-star elites banging down the door to sign with us right?

If U hire the right guy, staffing won’t even be a concern. The right guy brings the right staff in. Wether he retains some from the last staff or starts from scratch.

of course, mistakes happen

The right coach will address the issue unless there’s pressure from above tying his hands
