If Golden wins the coastal this year he still needs to go

the standard of this program is natl championships. Not winning the coastal when all the stars are aligned for you to do so. It seems everyone in the coastals best players are out for the season. Connor at Pitt. Brewer and fuller at VT. Etc

Several people noticed that.
 
VT or GT are in the driver's seat for the coastal. Barring a major collapse from those teams, we are looking at another season in a ****** bowl, or worse not even playing in one.
 
Yeah, rest easy man, relax. Al's got this. It will be the meme going forward- plenty to play for, ACC battles coming up, so get use to hearing it from Al and the rest of the PT Barnum Circus Greatest Fail on Turf. But make no mistake, this team will tank. Even with all of the chit going on with other teams, when the klieg lights come on, Al folds like a cheap circus tent.
That is all.
 
That's a big if that won't be happening. As much as I am a fan of this team, the reasoning portion of my brain doesn't let me entertain a thought that is that dumb.

Duke is winning the coastal and possibly the acc.

Duke is by far in the drivers seat. They've already beaten GT and their cross conference games are a cake walk.

To the OP, before the season started, odds were we weren't going to win the coastal. Now that the mask is off, I can guarantee we won't.
 
This team is going 2-6 in the ACC and probably finish last in the weakest division in the power 5 conferences.

And Pitt is looking good in blacksburg leading Vtech 17-7 in the 3rd quarter.
Without Conner they are running over tech and narduzzi got that defense flying around making plays.
