Not everyone in the CF world is playing fair. There are football programs who are essentially on steriods (i.e Alabama, Clemson, Georgia). They come down to South Florida and make it rain on recruits in our own backyard, while Miami sits back and keeps it's "integrity".

Speaking for me personally, I'm ready to sell my soul for success. That means doing whatever it takes to level the playing field. Those who are not willing to do so can not realistically expect to to win on a national level. I understand doing whatever it takes will come with some highs and some lows, but I guarantee winning national titles will make any lows we have worth it.

All I am saying is we need that edge back. We need to go where most are not willing to. In my opinion Miami Football has lost it's identity. I do not think we will ever truly be "back" until we accept, and embrace who we are - the bad boys of college football, The U.

You know "bad boys" was always a euphemism for "black boys" right? It's not that we were bad so much as we let black kids act like black kids.

They are not ESSENTIALLY on steroids, they are on steroids. They have had players test positive. There's no need to couch this kind of stuff, it's proven with positive drug tests. Just like people who get DUI's, it's not like the first time they got caught is the first time they drove drunk. A handful of players testing positive is just the tip of the iceberg.

If anybody really wants to see what the world of college football and steroids/HGH are all about, they should read the book “Under the Tarnished Dome”. It details the arrival of Lou Holts & the strength and training coach from Nebraska. It’s written by a true Notre Dame insider about 20 years ago and not much has changed, just become harder to detect.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have to check that out, hadn't heard of it.

It's always funny to see a player from Alabama get smaller when he goes pro.

Not to hijack, but when the NCAA sat by and did nothing when Tua's whole family moved from Hawai'i due to his dad getting a "job"...well, that's all you need right there. Then, in a shocking development, his brother committed to Alabama...amazing.

Black kids, “act black”? Please ENLIGHTEN us, how does one “act black?”

I will take a stab at this one. There is the President Obama in a State Of The Union address and then the Obama campaigning in front of a black church. I think it's more of a cultural thing and not necessarily derogatory. You could say the same about "country folk" in choice of words, mannerisms, compared to the larger population of people. I think that is what it means.

Miami will ALWAYS be under a microscope as it has been for decades. They’ll look for anyway to tarnish our name, so the dirty southern state schools can come down and poach whoever they want to fulfill their agenda. The NCAA is about as corrupt an organization as you’ll find in America. But the revenue stream is so outlandish that it’ll be hard to do anything. At least until Satan’s best bud isn’t the president of said organization. We have to do our best to keep our nose clean for a bit.

You do realize...that doesn’t clean it up. At all actually. So going by what YOUR saying is President Obama acted dignified and “presidential” in front of good common folk in proper setting but switched on the minstrel show as soon as he got into a black church? Hmm...I’m not not even about to get on your head, I want the actual poster to answer...

so why are you referring to blacks acting like minstrels? Maybe that speaks more to what is inside your head. I was not trying to be disparaging. But there is an obvious difference and that is all that I am saying. But you are right, I am speaking for me and not the poster.

Its not even worth it, man. Some people are still stuck in the 60's. The fact is, is that black culture is THE most popular culture in America right now and some people hate that. Let them be ignorant.
