I thought he was gonna be a miami great...

It takes a lot for me to put my complete trust in a single doctor

For every 1 good doctor, there are 5 out there who have no idea what they're doing

Just a reminder of how elite Ahmmon Richards was. I thought he would be the best wide receiver here since Andre

He had the best freshman year since Michael Irvin. AR broke his freshman receiving record.

Ahmmon is my favorite Cane since ST and EJ before that.

But I’m bullish on Derrick Smith right now. I thought he would be an improved (and healthy) version of Rayshawn Jenkins. Smith and Rome Polamalu.

He was a very good player with a promising career.

What really kills me is guys like him and Coley were super stars at the HS level and the trend continued throughout the freshman year.

Then both had injury plagued sophomore slumps.

Coley eventually turned it around by senior year but ultimately was a 6th round pick. AR is now retired.

Meanwhile guys like Cooper, Ridley, and Juedy continually got better over a 3 year span. Soon to be 3 1st rounders if Juedy goes in 1st.

Coley and AR should of been 1st rounders. We need to start developing these guys better. Hopefully the S&C is better bc those guys and others had way too many soft tissue injuries.

The Sophomore slump really upended the positive glow of his first year.
The following year would have been his signature performance year, and he never got a chance to show us.
In his heart you know AR is thinking "what could have been!.".
He is a great kid, so he will be fine, but there will always be that unfinished business in retrospect.

Fat ****, No Show to Gym, I Lock the Doors and Live in Broward while working in Dade Gus Felder really had our guys prepared.

"We never dead-lifted before."

Nope, actually pretty accurate. If I was Ahmmon I would find a neck specialist, not just rely on the opinion of a couple UM docs, assuming he hasn't done so already.

So you’re saying only 1 in 6 doctors are any good, so do you get 6 opinions for every medical condition?

At least.

And there's always this doctor in Mexico with his own clinic doing special treatments no one else does...magic injections

Random but, Carlos Jones Cb from the early to mid 90’s. Started off his career like he was going to be a legend and then faded abruptly. Injuries may have played a role.

Magic Benton also comes to mind.

He may not ever be a Miami great...but he has the oppurtunity to still be a great man.

There is life after football. He just has to find it.

...Sorry. This subject hits me particularly close.
