At least, that's who he is right now. Perhaps the rust will wear off, but I think it won't. We need to hire a young AGGRESSIVE offensive coordinator at years end.
The defense is playing well enough to win, but the offense is failing this team and that's a shame, especially when you consider 10 starters returned. How in the world does this offense look WORSE!!
The defense has held the past two opponents to 20 points, but we've scored 19 and 13 points against 2 bad defenses. That's gotta be on Richt when you consider 10 starters return. Is some of it, Kaaya and a shaky O-line? Yes. But we only tested UNC deep once (and Richards was wide open); we never tested FSU deep. We are VERY predictable right now (run after run on first down), and running this hodge podge RPO offense with Kaaya is a MESS.
I like Richt as a HC, but we MUST hire a competent OC. We look like a broken down Marty Schottenheimer coached team on offense.
If this offense were even halfway decent we'd be 6-0.
