Miami keeps getting to Darnold with four guys. A huge problem yesterday was we would get into the backfield but forget about the integrity of our gaps and they turned into scampers. It happened last year as well vs. Syracuse and Pittsburgh. Dolphins are literally putting on a clinic on getting pressure and staying in their gap and cutting off running lanes.

Darnold looks great. 4 guys aren't getting there enough.

BTW, fins play calling has been terrible. Please, run it on 3rd and one.

They’ve been there the entire game lol. He’s just that good.

Problem is, and not sure if u’ve noticed, but our pass rush have been less than stellar this year outside of Willis. As much as we clowned Kul, losing him has hurt us. Joe Jackson nor Garvin are nearly as explosive or relentless. Everyone is all bull rush w no other moves, all of a sudden.

You know we’re averaging 2.5 sacks a game just like Bama and it’s tied for 38th in the nation right? You also know we’re fourth in the nation for Tackles for loss right? With Jon Garvin and Gerald Willis in the top 20 for TFL as individuals? With Jon Garvin being second in the nation?

I’m not going to hit Joe Jack for playing with one arm unlike the rest of this board. They don’t even know they’ve listed him in the injury report every week.

The thing that stood out to me the most was the way the Fins used the small speedy WRs in the flats on first down as a compliment to the run game. I'd like to see Rick try that more, but the question is whether Rosier can make those passes. No doubt Perry could easily make those passes, but this again, could be another limitation on the offense due to the QB's inaccuracy.

Not to mention the fact that Joe Jackson is playing strong side this year...

I think you’re answering your own question at the end. Even though short throws are easy to make if you over or under throw those balls they lead to picks either by tips at the line(see Clemson) or picks(see LSU and other games he struggled). You gotta be able to trust your QB to put it on the spot.

We saw Rosier throw a couple of those passes in the flat against Toledo......and our receivers still had to contort themselves in order to make the catches.

It looked like Tannehill took a page out of the Rosier playbook today, faking the handoff inside and causing the Jets D to crash on that inside run, then taking off around the end.
