Hail Adidas. I feel like they will be more committed to us then Nike. I get why Nike ditched us, I would too.

We are getting rid of those ugly helmets :basedgod:

IDC whether it's Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, or even Fubu! I just want this school to get back to being the powerhouse it once was.

We ditched nike....... adidas paying big bucks

I like Adidas. Personally, I don't care for Nike. The history of the Nike company came out about 20 years ago and I helped translate the dang thing and it was published in Japan and I even got my name mentioned in the book but did I see a nice thank you check? Noooooo. lol Go Adidas!

I'm happy with the change, can't stand and won't buy anything from Nike. Now we just need to start showing a commitment to winning and I'll buy some new stuff. It's been since '07 that I dropped a dime on anything Miami related. My stuff is getting worn out and I just threw away my U gotta believe Hester alien shirt that Augie designed.

The money seems real nice. I'm hoping the uniforms go back to being clean and they make orange the primary color again. I want home games to be orange on white and away to be white on orange again. Or all white. I have a good feeling about the uniforms for some reason.

rumors r its supposed to be round the 90-95 million range. if true, then ***** the checkmark. idc if people r so brand crazy but we cant turn down a deal like that.

Adidas is gunna give us something clean, that much I know. They generally don't try and jazz **** up like Nike always does. In the end I think alot of people will be pleasantly surprised with how it all shakes out.

As long as they don't give us that ugly stretched out design that most Adidas teams have in there jerseys.

I am with you, I don't care if the uniforms are made in a sweat shop in Hialeah all that matters is the product on the field.

This. Take a look at the work they've done with their other programs. They might try one or two exotic schemes, I've seen Louisville trot out some all blacks and greys, but for the most part, it's "back to basics" which is fine by me.

I thought our helmet coloring was horrible the last couple seasons. Yeah Yeah, I know the young players want to sport different, but Jesus, those bowling ball orange/green lids were atrocious. You can look unique AND not look like a candy *** on the field, it's possible.

Lots of rumor that the deal is around 8 million per year.... if thats true that is way more than Nike was paying us.

There's your indoor practice facility....

Adidas will bring something nice and make us a top priority. However, our fanbase that wants the 1980 orange and white uni's will most likely be upset. They may go with a traditional flair but we won't see those uni's again. They were talking on twitter about us being Adidas version of Oregon. So basically, people will be ****ed even if they are sweet.

Also I like the cut of their jerseys on the players... never thought they went overboard with any of the schools...

actually like Louisville and Tennessee uniforms.... simple with a tweak here and there

A few things:

1. What was Nike paying us?

2. What portion of that was in CASH?

3. What portion of the Adidas deal is in Cash?

4. How do we know this will be spent on athletics?
