I find it ironic

4 missed FGs would've made it 19-6.
Would that have been a better game?

I'm not sure if that makes it any different but us missing our FGs made it more exciting for the whole 4th quarter. If we were up 12-3 the entire 4th quarter would have been mostly meaningless.

That Miami beating A&M 10-3 is boring and bad football, but Indiana beating Ohio St 13-10 is considered one of the best games of the year. Gotta love double standards.
I happened to tune into that espn show PTI at the time they were talking about the CFPs and Tony Kornsucker was talking about how boring the game was, but he did admit the last two minutes were exciting. As we all know those two clowns hate Miami.

I think all the ‘small’ but big plays by your teams guys don’t hit the same to a casual viewer. I actuallly thought it was the most fun game of the year, maybe because the magnitude, or doing it on the road in front of 100k
It was a Miami game so of course I was on the edge of my seat or pacing around my buddy’s house because the game means something to me. If it was two random teams I don’t care about, I would have probably not paid much attention. It doesn’t have to be a shootout but I need the occasional big play to keep in vested if I don’t care about the teams.

I would rather be up 12-3. Give me a 9 point lead going into the 4th quarter against OSU. I can live with a little excitement. Even better make it 30-3.

I don't know how a game that could have gone either way for the whole game.. and wasn't decided till 30 seconds left could be boring. I was amped the whole game.. jumping out of my seat for the big hits.

Any casual fan would probably say a 10-3 games was a snooze fest. Actual football fans would call that a slugfest.
