My kids couldn’t believe i was crying.

I ran around the house with a 4x6 Canes flag and tackled all of my kids who were just minding their business in the livingroom. I just pancaked them like Bain Jr. They didn't understand why, just that it was a happy pancaking.

I watched the game again in the middle of the night and then ran a half marathon for fun, and I didn’t cry but I was relieved my phone wouldn’t blow up with ******* retards trying to hate on Miami and Mario.

Man I cried before the game not gonna lie. Wish my pops could see the canes in the playoffs. He wasn’t a canes fan but supported my fandom and got me to my first canes games. He passed Dec 6 2022. I had about 6 homies come over and watch(all sec teams fans). They probably have never seen me that amped for a game. It felt good for them to witness with me our canes pull off the upset. I didn’t make to college station but damnit I couldn’t tell. The basement felt more and more like I was in the stands. Especially as the drinks poured.

But seriously, that scene in section 131 with all the UM fans (which is right on top of the end zone where the Fitzgerald game sealing INT took place) was pure euphoria. People -- basically, everyone -- were hugging each other, perfect strangers, whoever

I really don't know how we'd react if we ever got back to the mountain top

I will say this, when I got back to the AirBNB and I saw the news features on Mark Fletcher and his late father and mother and how she travels to every game -- that got pretty heavy

This is a great achievement. Its not to be taken for granted. But now we move forward and continue this campaign...

I didn’t cry. But I watched the McAfee version after the regular broadcast and my wife was “didn’t we just watch the game?” I was, “this is the McAfee version. I haven’t seen it.”
