Mario believed in Chaney who did not fumble. Replay is clear on that. Yes the referees screwed as they did ALL game. But that isn't on Mario or Chaney. That is on ACC refs. There was NO hold on Parish TD run (7 points), no clear unsportsman like penalty of Flagg in first half that got GT out of bad field position, and really no penalty on Colby Young for just blocking his man in first half. This was as bad or worse officiating than the Miami Duke Game. A coach believes in a kid who has NEVER fumbled, and didn't on the play in question is a corch because of it? You are delusional. If that was officiated correctly we win, period. Don't blame the coach or the player blame the ACC refs. There is an anti Miami bias amongst certain refs in this league. Even when irrefutable evidence shows a call was wrong they won't overturn it. We remained in top 25 because everyone who saw the game knew we got screwed by the refs. Now lets go beat UNC.

Dont forget the Flagg taunting.. He did do a lil flex thing for no reason but it wasnt egregious or warrant of anything other than go back to huddle or a warning.. really ticky tacky call that shows we have our games officiated completely different, that might have jumped started a drive, but alot of those calls had direct impact on game with point on board.. maybe someone can do a breakdown video or something to draw attention to it, keep it as ongoing series or something

Officals get the call right we would be 5-0 and ranked in top 15. Setting up a top 15 match up with UNC as best case scenario before the season. So many bad calls and TVD ****** performance made the game much closer than it should of been. But that was a worst case scenario game from the kickoff. Its over and behind. Media will kill Mario but goals are still in front of the team and the team has progressed from last year. Next game up.

That's not the point for the umpteenth time....
Fact of the matter is...It should NEVER have come down to that. Stop with the douchebaggery....it's a futile attempt to cover up the fact.

@Dwinstitles 🎥? Yes we made a bad decision but the strong are robbery still needs to be addressed.

No, it doesn't need to be addressed...the fumble/non-fumble means absolutely NOTHING....because it NEVER should have happened to begin with. Stop blaming a play that wasn't the crux of the situation. A F-ing HS Coach and staff wouldn't have made such a Monumental disaster of a decision, by #1...not kneeling, and #2 running the FB...and #3...not telling your RB to NOT fight for extra yardage....

this. we wouldn't need to blame anyone (fwiw it isnt on any single player bc there would be no fumble fi we took knees and thats why you take knees, you dont let random happen to you).

This as the worse refereed game I have ever seen. On one okay Taylor was getting held by two people and they didn’t call it. This **** has to stop.

How about we leave the ACC?

If if was a fifth…

LOL at excuses. This is on Mario, Dawson, TVD, Chaney, Couch and Kam. Period.

GT lost to Bowling Green. Let that sink in.

The transitive property doesn't work in football....teams play up or down all the time, especially in college. Fact is we played more than well enough to win, even though we played terribly, and should be 5-0 if the coaching staff just does what literally any other staff does at any level of football, from the NFL down to middle school girls flag football.

It's not on Couch or Kam, GTFOH. I'm sure the defense was on the sidelines untying their shoes and unbuckling their shoulder pads, as the game was literally over. Prior to that drive, they held a really good offense with a very productive quarterback to 65 yards passing for an entire football game.

This is ONLY on the staff. Not the refs, not Chaney, not the ******* defense. ALL ON THE COACHING STAFF. ALL of them, not just Mario. There's gotta be 700 years of coaching experience on that sideline, for somebody not going absolutely ballistic that we should be taking a knee is inexcusable from all of them.

I was doing it in my living room, and I'm not paid to coach the game. I have 3 different group texts where I'm saying some derivative of "I hope they lose" on the FIRST run becasue I was so incredulous they weren't taking a knee....then they ran it TWICE MORE. Even if you're incapable of doing math after the first down, which again is beyond inexcusable, I'm pretty sure you can when you're under 40 seconds with a running clock on the last snap.

This is Mario and his staff. Not one molecule of this is on the shoulders of anyone else. We should be 5-0. The coaches prevented that from happening.

Ever heard the term "control what you can control"? Everything else is just noise. We could control the kneel down to get the 5th win. That's the end. Point blank. Period.

At least somebody understands it.

I don’t really come on this site much anymore, but god ****… we have some loser ******* fans. Losing to a terrible GT team and everybody wants to put blame on everything except the team/coaches. Bunch of losers

You nailed it in every regard. Officials were sub-par and at times lost control of the game . . . . but to suggest Mario is an innocent, blameless character is silly. This wasn't Bethune-Cookman with a 30 point lead or whatever. This was a conference game and you're righting for your life to escape with a win. Emotions and believing in a kid is mindless, happy-talk. Hard to believe that entered Mario's mind, but if it did we're screwed.
