he doesn't call plays and went 8-4 this year, 5-4 in-conference (good for 4th in the awful pac-12 north), non-conference wins against the mighty southern utah, san jose state, portland state, and bowling green. aside from recruiting, what exactly makes him better than what we have right now? richt is ****ing me off, but this myth of cristobal being some kind of game day genius is ******* ridiculous. he cost them the stanford game with his clock management.
 
He sucked at FIU, is mediocre at Oregon, but sure, he'll be the GOAT here

#1 QB to be drafted and you go 8-4 and makes the QB look worse than previous year....so yes MEDIOCRE

Would I take him over Rorcht...sure...but there are alot better options than Wario

Well based on what you said, "he doesn't call plays..." at this point I'll just take that (not that he would be my #1 choice)

Who did Richt beat with a pulse this year? This IS Mario's first year as HEAD coach at Oregon, and how do you know for certain that he doesn't call plays, and if he truly doesn't call plays then how can you blame HIM for the Stanford game? Dabo ain't never been a play caller either but does it look like that matters when he recruits his *** off? And why is that Mario hating UM fans are the only people STILL bringing up a fuggin FUMBLE?

What good is having the top QB when the qb ain't got no weapons? But keep on hatin while we keep losing...

because a good head coach would override his oc to kneel it because you'd give them the ball back inside their 20 with like 3 seconds left in the worst case scenario instead of running the ball for minimal gains. a good head coach doesn't take the foot off the gas when up 17 at halftime. and if he did call that game, it makes him look worse. go crawl back to your corner.

You keep making that excuse. Everyone can say that. Kids graduate. Completion %, QBR, ADJ QBR etc.... all went down. Sounds like a coaching problem.

It would have still been between 40 to 50 seconds left and Oregon's secondary was already getting destroyed by Stanford's passing attack. But why do yall keep harping on that one play like it cost Oregon a guaranteed playoff birth? Who cares but yall Mario haters? What about Richt's dumb *** onside kick against Virginia with 30 minutes left in the **** game?

Herbert only played 8 games last season in which Mario was Co-OC. He started the final 8 games in 2016 under Helfrich when they finished 4-8. Do a little more research before you try to discredit someone for no reason. Practically every nfl draft expert said the kid made a lot of self imposed mistakes and would definitely benefit with one more year. Meanwhile, we just threw another pick...

I did my research .take Warios dlck out of your mouth...HIS stats were worse this year than last. Meanwhile Arizona still beat your teams *** by 29
