Manny needs to be fired now....and not necessarily because there is no chance that he could develop into a good HC. He could name Joe Brady, Yost, or any OC you want, but it will take that person time to get the spread offense up and running from a schematic standpoint. There will be a large learning curve, made even more difficult by QBs and an OL that lack basic fundamentals.
My point is, it will take time for the offense to gel, which will mean losses and the fanbase does not have the patience for it (nor should they as Manny is a carryover of the Richt regime and this was his year to install a new offense - which he didn't do). If a new HC is brought in, there will at least be some patience from the fanbase to allow for a complete rebuild and installation of a new system.
I hope I am wrong and simply the hiring of a new OC will turn things around, but I just don't see it happening.
