How on earth did Dinich get to be the face of CFP

nope. She is the mouthpiece, allegedly, of the committee.

She's maintaining there 's no guarantee Miami jumps ND. Claims the committee didn't feel the Canes were better this week so who is to say they will even with this loss by BYU.

Also says it will take a major blowout of Bama for them to be totally out. A close loss will likely put them between ND and miami again...

How can people who have no clue about what actually happens on a football field (most of the committee, along with Dinich) have any control over this process?
Dinich doesn’t have control over anything. She’s a reporter, she just repeats what the commitee tells her.

The committee doesn’t have control over anything either. The committee is the cast, the rankings are the show. ESPN is the entity who paid billions to own the show, and they are in control of the process.

Actually, I agree, and have been saying that ESPN is the prime mover here. But then why wouldn't Miami get in over OU, or a 3 loss Alabama? They are far more exciting, a better storyline, a bigger draw - and a higher rating for the network. So if ESPN is calling the shots, the Canes oughta be in.

Who the heck does Heather Dinich this she is?

She basically said if Duke wins, James Madison gets in and its "sorry Miami".

How can someone, a person and a network, get to a point wher ethey are so cavalier about whats right, that they completely dusregard rational thought, and furthermore discard a team and its players who work so hard in the heat, gym, otherwise that the basis of beating a team is deemed worthless

ESPN, Dinich, all of them are like modern day news, say it enough and it becomes the truth

ESPN has to fulfill their self serving narrative
