There seems to be a fairly equitable split between "Manny needs more time" vs "Fire Manuela today" crowds.

Obviously I'm a "Fire Maneula" guy.

Putting aside those porsters who are always vague, then try and come back with 20/20 hindsight "I was right b!tches"...

How much time do you all feel Diaz needs for consistent ACCCD Titles and ACC Titles?

What does that schedule look like to you?

It should have been this year. Apparently, that's an egregious demand. But given how we are closing out the schedule, who we have returning and how to schedule next year, there is no excuse for it not to be next year.

We should know by the end of 2020. Good QB, stacked RB depth, return most of our receiving production, the entire OL, most of the DL and the entire secondary plus our punter. Break in the new linebackers will be a challenge but it should lead us to Charlotte. I'm also very interested to see how February shakes out for NLI Day...

Depends. He gets next year at least. If he comes out with a losing record and loses the respect of the team he should be gone same time as Taggart.

I don’t like evaluating coaches before they have their own players unless they lose respect of the team and community(especially important at Miami)

I'm not close to convinced he's the guy, but I'm encouraged by the progress over the last month. I'm going to wait and see how recruiting goes and how he start next year before deciding that he needs to go. Another GT style fiasco and he's dead to me.

That said, I don't have the patience to weather out another not quite bad enough to be fired coach. I expect results.

Through the end of 2020 I think. He has to keep winning the games we're 'supposed to win' (which is most of them). Its a low standard I know, but thats where we are with 1st time head coach. I think he has potential - by the end for next year we'll know I think.

The Entire D is comprised of his players...that Flake Faker has promptly regressed in his play calling.

This is the perfect summary. if he cant get to the ACCCG next year hes not the right coach.

Anybody who thought this was the year was not paying attention. We had a new staff, a huge question mark at QB (remember when Tate was going to be our savior?) and, no matter what, our OL was not going to be very good at least for the first half of the year or so (remember when Kennedy was going to be our tackle savior?), and we didn't know if we had a kicker (and we also relied on Hedley to be our savior at punter because we didn't have a **** punter).

Realistically next year was the year, assuming we found a QB and our OL began to look and produce like a top 20 team toward the end of this year. Yes, we'll have to replace the LB core, but teams always go through transitions. The tradeoff is that our DBs should be much more experienced than this year.

If we don’t win coastal and min 10 games next year

We have entire offense coming back with majority of defense coming back
