How does this happen with Jarren?

I think it’s obvious at this point. Jarren lacks leadership and he does not consistently prepare each week. At this point idk if Enos should be brought back as OC. I think he’s done wonders as a QB coach but he really does need to evolve his offense into a more spread version of what he runs.

Jarren struggles under pressure and FIU's DL destroyed our OL. You can't teach Jarren's arm talent and he will improve in the areas he needs to.

Jarren was feeling himself way too much after the FSU/Louisville games. I bet dude was partying the last two weeks and didn’t properly prepare for this game - he looked lost.

You've heard the saying 'I'm gonna do this until you stop it!' Well you need to have a plan when they stop it. Conversely, a defensive guy can see tendencies and just say I'm gonna stop this until you do something else. Take away what a team does best and force them to adjust. One team didn't adjust and took the ******* L.

How about if it is little bit of each reasons mentioned in this thread? Major bad outcome is rarely a product of one main bad factor. Most of the time it is a combination of multiple little bad things contributing a perfect storm scenario. He is not that great, mentally tough QB or prepares on his own and thrives to be better every game, combined by poor coaching and QB roster management, bad preparation by the coaches, bad game plan, plus a team that believed they were superior to FIU South Florida "scrubs".

Jarren is hit/miss and that's why he shouldn't be "our guy". He shows up some games fully prepared and other games he looks uninterested and apparently still throws fits in the locker room.

So this OL situation was a surprise finding for our coaches that's why they didn't prepare for or try to mitigate?

This team, players, coaching staff, and administration all rest on their laurels. It's a deep, deep culture problem.

So true.

It took playing a rival (as usual) in F$U to wake this sorry group up, and if we had a bye week before the Louisville game, I can only imagine how we might have screwed that up.

UM

I'll take a less 'talented' QB that has the grit to win a game and lead a team. Jarren may have all the tools, etc. but if he's hiding in his shell or making dumb decisions - what does it all matter??

and fire someone, please!!
