Manny Diaz might just be a better defensive coordinator than a head coach. Or might have just needed some experience with full or more control as coach like at Temple; Maybe that was in the contract with Temple not being a major establishment, that he would be maybe like the CEO of the entire football program. Diaz almost immediately accepted the job once Mark Richt retired from Miami, it happens.. Besides the fact after robbing Miami's chances for three rings in a row; The BCS system only needed human hindsight of the season. Going to go on a rant on how I feel besides the schools administration being awful how this website makes it clear - Blake James is just straight stupid.
The Sugar, Rose, & Fiesta - bcs championship games. They would have beaten Oklahoma, Nebraska was basically an apology from the ncaa given the offense Nebraska used. Just watching the fiesta bowl its clear as day the Miami roster was inebriated; From the entire offenses extremely sluggish start.. Andre Johnson, unless he was just warming up tried catching a touchdown while he already slid and was among the camera crews. To osu Chris Gamble making a throw the yellow flag gesture, and the zebra literally just reacting to Gambles hand gesture, which resulted in a 2nd overtime. Jim Tressel had literally no mad or any type of reaction for that matter before his offenses first play of the first 60 minutes, after a flag for having "12 men of the field."
To me the whole Miami and the major revenue athletic teams get blackballed by the ncaa; March Madness and the whole football season are both known to bring in billions of dollars between advertising, and what ever else is used for their math.. March Madness in only the three week span made about $900 million revenue. Its well known the ncaa distributes the revenue in a way that robs certain schools, only the top 20 football programs made about $933 million alone.
Nevin Shapiro and all his exaggerated lies trying to act like he was one of the actual student athletes.. When he claimed he the players benefited from millions of his ponzi scheme wealth, prostitutes, and pay to injure opposing players. It was all drawn out to the point that Miami's own A.D. had to sanction itself; I don't recall the ncaa ever even just making a public apology. The NCAA benefited though greatly from the publicity that the teams from the 1980 teams helped with. It was well known those players cut past the dolphins and celebrities to the VIP area of the clubs and what not. The NCAA in the 1990's before hand too tried handing out the still dubbed - death penalty but the team became a powerhouse again.
They even had the whole media coverage when they exited the team plane in military camo fatigues, sure there was the media outlets criticizing them. That particular game had at the time set a record in the stadiums paid attendance, plus one summer time the NCAA had a video on celebrations that would draw a penalty flag featuring almost just the Miami teams.. Plus every unbiased fan and media analyst knows the BCS computer system was perfect compared to the playoff committee changing year to year. Along with it being known they don't watch every game of the better, or potential playoff contenders - Most of them have no resume whatsoever playing any organized team sport especially football at a high level.
Condoleezza Rice was apart of the Capitalistic game for one year to many, she admitted to only paying attention to 14/15 games with Sundays thanks to the dvr; Look at all the insecure fans always joking about any woman having any sort of role in football.. After the nfl zebras had a strike, one of the medias jokes were the lingerie football zebras should've been hired... The original zebras are a joke too, between the missed calls [Rams & Saints, 2018 no call], make up calls the next play or two, & the extra old zebras needing more replays too. There were a few jokes here and there on the major sports networks when the league hired a woman as a sideline referee.
