Hotels ND and Clemson

Booking rooms for ND and Clemson games tonight once schedule comes out. Has anyone been to either and have any info on where Miami fans tend to stay?

i stayed in chicago. much better than staying in south bend. make a long weekend out of it. it is about an hour and a half out. we left chicago early and had breakfast in south bend.

the nicest people i have ever met.

I'd recommend staying in Chicago if you want to make a weekend out of it. Yes it's about an hour and a half drive and you'll lose an hour since Southbend is EST but it's worth it. And I'll provide some local establishments I've had many beers at.

1.5-2 hours depending on game day traffic... they also have bus shuttles and trains from Chicago for the games

I'm staying in Hammond, Indiana for ND because I have lined up a site visit for work at a warehouse we have there. Right in the middle of Chicago/South Bend. I will probably be spending the night out Friday in Chicago and wouldn't mind staying there. Never been.

For Clemson, I always stay in Greenville SC. About 45 min out and a straight shot on gameday. Stuff to do and decent hotels in the downtown area. We did the Hyatt Regency last time we went to Greenville and will probably stay there again. I think we did the Courtyard in downtown right on the water last time we were there for the game against Clemson.

Stayed in a corner suite at Swissotel a couple years ago for a wedding and it was badass and not incredibly overpriced either. Awesome views of the river and lake Michigan.

Great city to visit, but not so much to live. My sister and her husband lived there for 20 years and had to get the heck out of dodge. They were so done with the big city life they moved to a small town in Maine.
