We have a pretty great home track record the last few years. Beating Miami in Miami has proven difficult for many teams in recent years. I don’t think that changes this year.
In 2018 Miami went 5-1 at home.
2017 Miami went 7-0 at home regular season. 7-1 if you include Wisconsin Bowl loss.
2016 Miami went 4-2 at home.
2015 Miami is 5-1 at home only loss to Clemson 58-0
Pretty impressive home record. 21-5 over the last 4 years.
So I know some guys still feeling like we have a losing season or whatever. But history favors us at home pretty often.
So with said this may age horribly but I like Miami to go undefeated at the crib. That’s at least 6 wins. We won’t lose to Butch and FIU. That’s 7.
Leaves Miami with @PITT, @Duke, and @FSU left.
Plus the team could get hot at the end of the year as the young guys gel and understand their assignments better on offense and defense.
FSU is so bad that I think we get the win in Doak.
8-4 finish.
7-5 or worse against this schedule and I’m joining the hate train with y’all but for now I’m still trying to be optimistic here
