Hope we take VA serious...

One thing in watching those highlights and watching every snap we've had that needs to be a coaching point of emphasis for us...when in pass coverage, find the football. Those plays where UVA made big plays in the passing game up the sideline, UNC's DBs were all just playing the man and faceguarding...where as, if they would have turned to look for the ball it could have been a pick or easily broken up. Muskett isn't a world-beater thru the air at QB, but he gives his WRs a chance and lets them locate the ball over/around defenders. We turn our heads and play the football a little more, we can avoid/lessen those kinds of plays.

As far as tickets go, the University of Miami site has almost no tickets available. The secondary market has tickets for $3 but not a massive amount of seats. It's strange. I don't know if Miami dumped tickets on the secondary market or what. It seems like it would be a very strong turnout but I just can't believe that.

Turnout may be better than expected because of win over Clemson and Va is homecoming game.

Maybe the university stupid changes in the offseason were what f'd the attendance earlier on. Was stupid, the attendance for A&M and BCC were very underwhelming. I was surprised at the turn out for GT and Clemson.

Wow. So UVA was 0-5 at one point, having lost to Tenn., MD, NC St, BC, and JAMES MADISON(?) but they just upset UNC on the road. Crazy.

I think they caught lightning in a bottle vs UNC.
We can easily lose this game, but my head tells Miami is in a different place now and if TVD is back we win comfortably.

The starting QB was hurt in the Tenn game. They played a true freshmen who had 5 TDs and 6 INTs.

This game will come down to
1. Miami's ability to run the ball with AJ, CJ, and BS. Maybe Parrish plays. Pass protecting with those same kids. We can win if we can't run but we need to be able to protect our QB.
2. Containing Perris on the ground and Washington at WR. Both are "quick" kids. Hollins is their BIG back.

If the D plays like they did against Clemson, we should be just fine. If the O plays like it did against Texas A&M, we blow them out.

Wishful thinking. It’s homecoming so maybe the student section will be better attended than most weeks but bad opponent and a dolphins 1pm game the next day I would be shocked if there were 40,000 there. I’ll be there +7 as usual.
