Top three wish list candidates to replace Archie Miller reportedly are: John Beilein, Chris Beard, and Scott Drew.

Porter Moser apparently the favorite for the DePaul opening. He must not want to leave the city of Chicago.

As long as whoever the coach is can run the "picket fence," they'll be good.

In a very sad way, the fact that there are many prestigious HC openings this season, and no one is "seriously" touting Coach L as a candidate, perhaps says a lot about the stature and capability of present-day Coach L.

His age. If he were 10 yrs younger, there'd be suitors. Still, doesn't seem to hurt Beilein's rep. Beilein is 68, L is 71.

No. Even if he was still good he turns 72 in October.

Those 3 names are excellent candidates.

I wouldn't expect Coach L to be pursued because of age. But the longer we go without announcing his departure, the more likely it is that Blake James has no intention of making a change anyway. Indiana, Minnesota, Depaul, Iowa State, Penn State, BC (already hired a new coach)... If we're going to make a change it has to be now. Not likely I guess.

Most of These programs that are all firing their coaches have not suffered thru 3 straight losing seasons and a 15-41 conference record. Yet they’ve made the right moves, while we’re sitting here not even making any changes to the staff or S&C program.
