Homer’s touchdown run demonstrated that when the O-Line gives him a crease you can color him gone! V-Tech’s defensive backs looked like they were running on beach sand as Homer did his lifelike impression of a blurrrrrrrrrrr.

As for Berrios, there are not enough accolades to describe that Cat. He is absolutely fearless and sets the standard for what it means/takes to be a Cane. Offering a bit of unsolicited advice…should you ever be preparing for a gang street fight do yourself a favor and call Berrios first and invite him to join your team. Simply put…he’s bad to the bone!

Agree 100%. Good post. I loved the way Richt managed the running game tonight. Our OL is not at the point yet where we can just line up and run in a conventional manner especially early on. This is why those wrinkles Richt put in were so effective. Did you notice how on the majority of the read run plays that VT was completely locked in to Homer? Very nice to see us change it up and break tendency.

Also DJ showed what a productive and explosive player he has the potential of being. Great to see him starting to develop.

As for Braxton Berrios, the guy is 100% Cane and gives 250% on every snap. He's tough, dependable and productive. He has shown why he is on scholarship at UM and has his doubters eating a huge **** sandwich. Good for him. Kid has earned respect!
