Holding Players Accountable

Richt suspended Nkosi for the LSU game and a lot of people were harping about holding players accountable and how there’s a different standard being set at Miami. Yes these kids are in school but let’s be honest, these guys were brought here on scholarship to help win football games. Little minor stuff can be handled in-house as long as it’s nothing that blows up in the media. Since Richt is deadset on upholding the academic standard when do we start upholding the football standard? If you have veteran players like Rosier and Knowles that can’t perform as needed or even the O-Linemen that keep getting false start penalties when do you pull them out the game and say “Hey you’re a vet playing like a freshman so if this is the best effort I can get I may as well play a freshman.” If vets can’t do their jobs they need to be held accountable and younger hungry guys need to get reps.

I for one was never part of that group of dumbasses. These guys came here to play football not school. You don't suspend a player EVER unless the NCAA forces your hand or it receives media attention and you need to suspend them before it gets out of your control. If you catch a player doing something (unless its murder or rape or something egregious) and the NCAA/Media doesn't know about it you let it slide. NFL teams have fixers thats only job is to cover for these guys. Jimbo covered for rapists. Meyer covered for murders. God knows what Saban covered for. You don't win games with a team full of goody goodies. Most star players do not want to play for some guy who is not going to cover for them if they break the rules.
 
Feagles and Rosier should have been pulled. Certain things shouldn't be acceptable, period.

We're actually creating a situation where it's okay to shank multiple punts a game. Literally, we're showing Feagles that if he kicks a duck more often than not, it's okay, he still has a job. On what ******* planet is this okay?

Pulled Feagles for who? Pretty sure our backup walk-in punter doesn’t travel to away games.

1. What txcanes and everyone else said.
2. For ANYONE. Really though, I'd put my money on an athlete like Deejay Dallas over Feagles if given the opportunity. At a certain point, you can't get much worse. And frankly, if we're gonna shank em anyway, I'd rather it be a guy who isn't on scholarship to do nothing but punt all day every day.
 
Rosier, Knowles, and Feagles are making “freshman” mistakes week in and week out since last season. At no point should they see the field unless it’s mop up duty.

I can live with Gurvan Hall making a mistake his first game out there but not a 3rd year Jr who is constantly killing us.
 
Need to hold players accountable for their performances on the field starting with rosier, knowles, backup linebackers and jahvontae dean...

Yes, a concern of mine that is recently developed and growing stronger every prime time *** whipping we take on national tv, is that the checks and balances are all off in this staff. There is literally noone to tell Richt no you can't run a draw on third and long, play this person or that person. He's integrated himself far too much in handling the minutia for my liking.
