Love the fan attendance and the intensity of support our team is receiving. I hope it sticks and wonder if the demise of the Dolphins and the lack luster Heat has anything to do with it? Being an oldtimer I;ve seen the bandwagoners jump on and off but methinks the current fans are falling in love with the college game in general plus it is more affordable for a family to participate. I remember the endzone tickets a family could buy that cost about 100 dollars and admitted 5 people where three were supposed to be 18 or younger (I brought 5 men to the ND 3rd and 45 game and did not get questioned). Turned them into season ticket holders and Canes forever. I was an early Canes fan that got enthralled with the Shula Dolphins but then Burger King was giving free tickets to the Canes..fell back in love and wondered why I had wandered. I think Miami has fallen in love with our Hurricanes and will continue their support more than ever before and will come for all the games and be as rowdy as any Canes fans ever...GO CANES! IT'S GREAT TO BE...

I became a fan back in the 70’s thanks to Burger King. It was a slow build up to ‘83, my Sr year in high school. Played with and against most of that key class.

I think us winning, after years of both us and the Dolphins being average at best, is indeed why the fans are showing up in force. I don't know that we'd have had a better turnout in 2002 against Virginia than we had last weekend. It's not just us winning, but us winning at this particular time. Just my two cents.

I love that ESPN's latest talking point against us is that the atmosphere was just too good for the VT and Notre Dame games, and that we can't win without our great home crowd.

3rd-43. Come out with that bullchit

Should've been a TD if Toretta had lead Thrill instead of making him come back to make the catch...one of the greatest Hurricane plays ever!

Except that it wasn’t Torretta, it was Erickson.

You’re completely clueless, you start horrible threads, and you get all your facts wrong.
