What can he do in the middle of the season? Well, I guess he could talk to Mario and help him evaluate the current players on the roster. Not sure there is anything else to do. I mean, he can’t draw up the red zone offense…

That would be a help cause Mario and his band of idiots don’t seem to be able to evaluate players worth a ****..
 
Somebody with balls better tell Mario the truth.

I know he's got a system in his mind. Most of it may be good.

But a crappy Offense is going to cost him this job if he persists.
 
Mario is surrounded by OG’s. They will pull his collar when needed. Will he listen is the question. Hard to be accept the truth sometimes. No matter who it comes from

The guy that’s been in the NFL 20 years for the Browns and the Seahawks is going to tell Mario to switch from a philosophy that he also wants? Cool story, guys

i hope he or someone implements a more effective self-scouting function. Perhaps we have one. But, maybe it’s not up and running? Because other teams seem to find our holes faster than we do. I was amazed how on point and immediate some of MTSU’s counters appeared. Get Jaden Harris on the field after a sudden Couch special teams injury? Boom, immediate touchdown. Really impressive.

They were extremely prepared. Our guys got punched in the mouth and couldn't respond. We are a bad football team. Anybody can beat us, especially if they catch us on a bad day like today. Doesn't help that we have so many injured players too. As ****** as we were, we probably win this game if we were at full strength. Inexcusable that we couldn't, either way.
 
The next time someone tells me exactly what Highsmith does here will be the first time someone tells me exactly what Highsmith does here.

If only we had a quality AD from a National Championship winning program that we recently stole.
 
First thing he can do is tell Mario to show more urgency. I would have benched TVD much sooner and scolded everyone that you are next if you don’t get your sh*t together.

After 18 years of mediocrity, even the best staff and support team isn't gonna perform a miracle in Year 1. The only coach that ever did that was Urban Meyer in 2012. Even Saban couldn't do it in 2007.

Having a guy like Rad is huge. Having the support we have is huge. It's very very early in what's going to be a long rebuild.
