High praise for rayshawn jenkins

Jenkins was definitely under appreciated for most of his career at Miami. But not in his final year. Like Redwine, I think everyone realized we had a hidden gem in the end.

I wish nothing but the best for him and all our NFL Canes. We need more All Pros repoing the U, só hope Jenks takes that next step.

This is a mid to high 3 star that came here while all the elite dudes took the bag or believed the hype that we don’t develop players and bounced to “we only love you on Sundays U” and he is likely working on a second NFL contract.
This man had seven offers! SEVEN!!!
Gonna be in the league longer than plenty of front running turncoats!
I know mfers are gonna come here and say “we knew Jenks was a dog”. But I guess all the elite recruiters form kkklanville didn’t pick up on the k9 scent.
I’ll repeat what I was told after the scrimmage.
“If your a south Florida kid and you don’t want to play for this team right now then you should have your head examined”.

He was alright here, so let's not act like people saw this coming. People were talking about who's next. No disrespect to him, but his success is a surprise to all. I hope it continues and wish everyone the best life has to offer.
 
Speaking of lightly recruited Canes from the Golden era, I'm surprised Thurston Armbrister's NFL carrer wasn't more fruitful, he was a beast for us

Definitely not a Golden special, Rayshawn had a legit Bama offer. When Saban wants a kid at DB, best believe that kid can ball.
 
Golden got us some players when he was here. To bad he was married to Coach D. Might’ve had a chance if he didn’t handcuff himself to that idiot.

I always like Jenkins just hated that he was always laying on the field hurt after every hit he gave. He was also the reason the chargers got rid of my homie. Came in and straight snatched his spot

You guys could not get pass the south Florida players that came into UM with Ray....ie Bush who in his defense was a 5 star whatever that means,.... but after seeing both guy when healthy on the field in games action it wasn't even close as to which player had elite talent and which player was just a good talent. South Florida bias!! We had this same conversation their last year in the program. Somebody please find that post.
 
He was our last great ballhawk at safety. We haven't had one that can generate interceptions at his rate since he left.
