Its Richt's offense. The title is just a way for him to get paid more. Why don't u put Dugans up there too. U do know he is Co-OC right???
why are you making this about race?
What????

Put together? Homer was committed well before he got here & looks to have regressed from last season. DeeJay wasn't recruited as a RB...Dugans & Hartley got him here. Lingard showed flashes before the injury but wasn't ready for serious PT, even as a 5-star early enrollee (coaching). You're giving him way too much credit as a RB coach. While Thomas Brown might be in on offensive meetings and game prep, none of us here KNOW what his true involvement is as as a coordinator, if any. Nor we do know if he really has CMR’s ear in terms of offensive philosophy.
What we do know is CMR is the one whose head is buried in the tecmo bowl playbook on saturdays and is seemingly calling in plays through his headset. So until proven otherwise, I’m going to evaluate brown as a running backs coach, and nothing more.
In 3 years, he’s put together a stable of backs most programs would salivate over. He’s also converted a high school QB/slot receiver into a legitimate back. If you think brown is the problem, then you’re the problem.
He failed to mention the avg was inflated after playing savannah st, bum *** UNC and pedestrian Toledo team.. we didn’t average that when needed ... someone should’ve pointed out to genius that we’ve scored 13.5 points the last 2 weeks against subpar conference opponents.. staffs approach to our flaws this season:"If we were scoring 35 a game, no one would complain."
/looks up UM's scoring offense on cfbstats.com, UM is averaging 34.5 ppg, 31st overall...and everyone is complaining
why are you making this about race?
omg... comments like these make me wanna down vote everything you post from here on out
what on earth..
Y'all looking at the wrong guy(s) to blame (Brown, Dugans). I mean, sure he helps game plan but he is game planning within an ancient playbook and system at his disposal.
Think of it like this in basketball terms. The HC wants to run a basketball offense that emphasis low post basketball. Well, what can you do as an assistant coach when your boss what to run a bunch of low post sets even though everyone in today's game run offensive sets to get open 3 point shots?
In short, we're limited because the system and plays isn't fit for today's game.
When Richt called plays at FSU football was in a MUCH, MUCH simpler time. Back when Richt was considered a great OC he was one of the few really great pro style teams. Richt's time as being one of the best OC went out with the pro style offense. Passing offenses and offense in general has expanded much more then when Richt was "the man" calling plays at FSU.
honestly the reason we don't see the low post game anymore is because big man don't even have posts games like they once did
not to take away from your point on richt, but basketball has fallen mightily
remember the phoenix suns in the mid 2000's with nash running that style? There's a reason that all star team didn't win it all, and unfortunately these days there's no teams with a real strong low post presence anymore to expose it.
We all know dugans and brown are puppets in the offensive rooms. The "OC" title is only for monetary value for both those guys. But stating there's cancers on the team when things are going wrong and failing to acknowledge that there is a playcalling deficiency is asinine. i think thats where Mr. Brown went wrong. Im sure these "so called" cancers were around last year but weren't addressed. Whose to blame?Y'all looking at the wrong guys to blame (Brown, Dugans). I mean, sure they help game plan but they are game planning within an ancient playbook and system at their disposal.

If a basketball team runs a low post type of offense whether they have Shaq or not is getting boat raced the way teams shoot 3s. Is the 124-118 scores not catching your eye?
