Hey Old Timers that remember...

He's up there with Searcy, McKinnie, and Harrah. McKinnie was such a beast, made people forget about how good Searcy was in the 80's/90's. And Harrah was an All Pro for years with ther Rams. Otto was really before my time but I remember him from his last years with the Raiders when I was really little.
Edit- Harrah went to LA Rams, I was thinking of John Hannah. Dennis Harrah played years before I attended UM, and even though they look nothing alike and played different positions I still get the names confused. I do remember he was very good in the NFL and might be elected to the HOF this year.

I started following UM football right around Harrah's senior season. All three plus aforementioned Otto are worthy of praise and one would not go wrong picking one as the best, but to me what McKinnie did in his two years at UM was remarkable. He literally man-handled his side of the line vs very good football players, including Dwight Freeny who went on to shine in the NFL.

I never saw Harrah.

But Cici is in the top 3 for me along with McKinnie and Searcy. One of them every needed help.

I think we chipped Freeney with an RB a few times in the early part of the game against Syracuse, but once the coaches saw he well McKinnie could handle Freeney, they left him alone. We just never had a chance to see Cici go up against someone as good as Freeney, but I am confident the outcome would be the same. Completely shut out.

Good analysis. Some great ones came before, but McKinnie is probably best of the modern or recent era. CiCi is **** close & at the very least top 3-4.

He was the second highest ranked offensive lineman that we have signed from 2002 onward:

Searcy, Mckinnie, Winston, Myers, Feliciano, Linder, Romberg, Flowers, Henderson and I’m sure I forgot some guys from the 80s and 90s

CiCi will fall somewhere in that mix. We make a run and he sky rockets up the board regardless of NFL success. Most of these guys are getting their flowers from NFL success beyond college but all of em were great if not under appreciated at UM

Way up there.
Truth be told, the UMiami is every-position-U (QBU, TEU, DTU, LBU, Safety U, RBU) before it is OL U.
Cristobal/Mirabal is a phenom game changer.
I’m in.
