Jeanty is having an otherworldly season and looks to be the runaway Heisman favorite, current odds have him first, then Travis Hunter and then Cam. What can Cam do to win it? Or is Jeanty just a lock at this point? Naturally would love to see Cam win it.

Jeanty is an incredible running back- NOT having the Heisman year Cam is having imo. Also, Hunter has dropped since this past weekend and Gabriel suddenly moved in his spot ahead of cam- in the same exact way Milroe did after having his ONE Heisman worthy game. Cam has had Heisman performances EVERY SINGLE WEEK. His not being at the top and by a good distance is a joke.

Jeanty is having a great season.
If they say he's ahead now, he'll be tough to catch given BSU's schedule.

That being said, Cam's projected 4500 yds/40 tds would be 5,000/50 vs Boise's Schedule

Cam needs to finish the regular season undefeated, cut down on the INTs a little , and hopefully beat an 11-1 top-5ish ranked Clemson in the ACC CG

Probably also needs Boise to drop a game somewhere along the way.

If that happens, I still think he would win it. But he probably needs *all* of it to happen. Jeanty is getting a ton of (deserved) media attention for a G5 candidate.

It's tough. If Jeanty gets the all time record for rushing yards, or comes close, I don't know how he doesn't get it. Playing that game against Oregon will probably seal it for him if he continues at the current pace. But he's one missed game from injury from losing it at a position that usually doesn't make it through the season without some sort of injury.

Cam's Heisman chances come down to:

-Playing a top 10 Clemson team in the ACCCG and having an incredible game
-Miami being undefeated
-Duke, Syracuse, or GT being ranked when we play them. Duke has the best shot at 7-1. If GT can take down Notre Dame that would be huge. Syracuse has a tough road ahead.
-Continuing at his current statistical pace
-Putting together a few more Heisman highlight plays

If all those things happen it's going to be really tough to keep it from him. A Miami Hurricane Hesiman winner is tough to pass up if it's close between the two. But if Cam has an incredible second half the voters are going to be looking for an excuse not to vote for Jeanty. That's why I think he has to be perfect going forward.

They ran some numbers and the betting favourite at this stage rarely ever wins the Heisman.

Cam is going to need to turn in some massive numbers and have a few more Heisman moments. Jeanty averaging essentially 10 yards a carry he will win it if this continues. It’s bull**** Hunter is still 2 on most lists after he barely played due to injury this week.

Heismans have seen to go strictly to QBs since what Reggie bush???

It’s wards to lose with the dark horse of Dillion Gabriel after the suckeyes win.

Someone said it already but just cut down on the INTs, close out the season undefeated, and put a few more teams to sleep with big wins and it should be a wrap.

Burrow finished with 2,200 yards, 19 TDs and 3 ints in his last 6 regular season games (between 73-82% completion percentage in those games) in ‘19. I think Cam has to at least match that production to get it.

If we stay in the top tier of the playoff conversation and Cam keeps ballin, he's got as good a chance as anyone. Never seen a Heisman race swinging more week to week than this one...in years past, this would already be a "Cam Ward with one hand on the trophy" storyline that would make it hard for anyone else to keep up with.

But, then again, I just watched us get trashed for two weeks for beating an unranked conference team on the road after coming from behind and traveling two time zones and then Penn State did the same thing and moved up so what the **** do I know?

4 of Cams ints were from hitting WR’s hands. Not like they were thrown directly into defenders hands.

How much do they take into consideration a teams performance and contention in the playoffs?
