Richard Fain, CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises is apparently the guy. I like the idea of a private sector guy.

Fain is vice-chair of the UM Board of Trustees. FYI: Many board members are 'private sector guys' and 'private sector women'

Here you again with that "private sector" ****. LOL. You realize almost the entire BOT is composed of "private sector" guys?
 
If they can play basketball games on an aircraft carrier, it's time for a football game on a cruise ship. UM would have the only floating stadium.
 
I think the OP is saying that he's the head of the search committee not that he's the "guy" as in he's going to be Donna's replacement. Most BOT people at major universities are "private sector" people.

The next UM Prez will be some academic or politician, or combination of both.
 
Richard played Ball at North High in Fort Myers went onto a good career at UF...

I like him...

BOT's are usually made up of successful, wealthy people with good reputations. That eliminates 99.9999% of public sector types.
