He gets it

Y’all falling for that elite talk game, this is the same coaching staff was part of the 7-6 record and I expect them to go 7-6 again
Cmon sin, manny did exactly what we hoped for that D... the other coaches never did anything but fail. So 8-5 is totes possible.

“We need a guy that is going to behave and act like a big time guy and take us where we need to go” -Diaz
The Don has put the QB room on notice. Thank you
based on that comment Diaz has just confirmed next years starting is not currently on the roster

He’s setting the standard PUBLICLY. I think Mark Richt was to “PC” when publicly addressing the QB room. Manny is saying flat out what the standard is. So when perry or whoever ***** up off the field again they need to find somewhere else to play.

quote from his interview Today

“There is no doubt that the solution to that problem may be on our campus right now, but we have to make sure we examine all possible solutions and we do create competition, whether that is from the outside, and whoever comes from the outside isn’t guaranteed anything.”

Forgetting about the Golden BS, etc, Manny makes a good point. Until we see Jarren with live game reps, none of us really know if we have a legit high level P5 QB in the room.

Wait and see is what I’m doing, not gonna rag on Manny until he gives me reason to do so. In the three years, he held up his end of the bargain, that buys him credibility with me, I’m willing to see what he does.

I don't want to come out and say it but these Manny quotes are beginning to sound like AL Golden when he first got to UM. Remember how we ate his shidt up back then?

Im tempered in that opinion only because Manny had perhaps the best sound bite of the past 15 years after the Notre Dame shellacking when he told Zegacki (sp?), "What you saw tonight was the natural order of the universe being restored."

Ive never gotten wood off of a coaching sound bite but I did when I heard Manny say that...... And at my age, that's saying something. :distrust:

.

Manny And Al Golden Spoke like Barack Obama or David Goggins. It's about what hes brings to the table. Al Golden brought pillars, Manny Diaz brought "A couple" Cuban Link Chains Strong enough to hold each Jerry Jones, Shahid Khans Mega Yachts from floating away. I know it's just materialistic and doesn't help on the field but it helps with recruiting. Manny Diaz is from the City he has an idea, I'm sure he has everyone that recognizes him in his ear. If Manny Embraces the Students Athletes it's easy to see them living him like the Clemson Kids Love Dabbo. Someone Teach Manny Diaz to dance with Swagg and were winning half the battle
