There's nothing more to the story. Unlike the majority of mouth-breathers here, Richt realizes the season is not over and 10-2 with a trip to Charlotte is still on the table. He's choosing to play the kid who he thinks gives him the best chance to get there, so he can keep his recruiting class together and still lure the Stevensons, Neals, Bogles, Haselwoods of the world.

Yes, I know Perry is more physically talented. You think Richt doesn't? You think he's trying to lose? Stop crying for 2 minutes and look logically at this. I was just as ****ed as anyone when the news broke earlier but shouldn't we wait until we lose another game until you crybabies **** and **** all over yourselves?

Exactly, what good is it to start someone who may be more physically talented but is still green in most areas to be a successful qb and CLEARLY making richt be more conservative the last 3 games(have no idea why but he is)? I despise rosier at times but at least the offense was less conservative with him at qb. I mean we were much more agressive vs LSU in terms of play calling overall than we were vs uva, FSU, unc and that’s with them being by far the most talented team on our schedule. We still can win out

I just don't get the "season is over, let's play for next year" nonsense. No it's not. Not even close. Do you realize what 10-2 and Charlotte is for recruiting vs 8-4 or 7-5? Let the thing play out. I know you guys all know for a fact that Perry can win games and Rosier can't because you're all football coaches and not auto mechanics, but how bout we see what happens next week before we fill our diapers?

Yes, I was excited to see Perry take the reins. Yes, I know he's physically superior. Yes, I was hoping and praying that he would be "the guy". But has he done a single thing to prove that to anyone? He's thrown 5 picks in what? 90 attempts? Yeah...that's not good.

Go cry to your mom. The comments on here are laughable. Yes, he has work to do on the offensive scheme but he also has a very Green QB in Perry and a below average RS. Sr. in Rosier. I don't care what we run, we are limited by the signal caller. Its a fact and you can cry all you want but that reality.
