Well it’s not looking good….
This is a hard lesson for Mario and team to learn due to the weak conference we are stuck in!!!!!

Also, for all those out there that don’t get it, yet……every week you should be hoping ND, OSU, Mich, OU, Texas, Bama, Georgia and USC LOSE!!!!! If they get 3 losses in reg season - they have a tough time justifying the ranking (although you all see the politicking Texas gets and you watch, they will be right behind us in rankings)!!!!

They will almost always start ranked ahead and will fall the fewest spots after a loss
And will climb during g bye weeks and for beating Sam Houston state!!!

It’s the way it is set up! ESPN wants it, sportswriters, college football historians want it!!!

We will never get the benefit over these schools, it’s bull**** but it’s true.

I hope that I’m wrong but having watched this sport my entire life it’s always been that way. I hope Tuesday changes that but I have no hope like some of you do.

Mario needs to take this to heart and truly understand what he’s up against annually due to us being in the ACC. We are outsiders to their game if the SEC and Big Ten had their way they have 12 teams between them.

So needless to say if Miami is out, we are rooting for Texas Tech👍😂❤️

The writing is on the wall now! We are going to be left out. The silver lining is that we saw a different game plan by the head coach today. If Mario can evolve as a game day coach, we have a chance to be “in the mix” With the recruiting & talent evaluations in place we can become relevant again!
 
Hoping we’ve learned that even in big wins there is room for critical analysis. We see what breaking tendencies, putting the defense in conflict has done for us. I’m not going to pretend this has been against top flight competition but there is nobody who can say with a straight face we are running the same plays.
 
UL and SMU box scores should be hung on Mario’s office wall.

The entire world was loud in their critique of bro-ball, slow and methodical, zero wrinkle, bland offense that he either insisted or allowed us to run.

This SHOULD be the punishment. To be fair, this is justice. Teams shouldn’t hope and pray to be eligible for postseason play. Worthy teams go out there and take hold of it.

Every day for the next year, Mario should hear “remember Louisville, remember SMU”.

The real hard lesson is that our own conference tries its best to fk us. Just look the game today... criminal.. some of the calls are so egregious.

Other conferences protect their own. We are stuck in a pathetic weak conference who tries to destroy us even if we bring them cash and viewership

You saw what we do w just average officiating
Keep it
Mildly fair and we run a train on this conference
 
Yall forget how bad we looked vs Bama while Manny was here. We didn't ever belong with the likes of Clemson or Bama and you can't say that today. Hard pill to swallow, but a few different calls and we win some of those games we lost these past two seasons, but yall can't hate what Mario's put together, disappointment and all.

And earlier this year before the season started it was "remember GT, remember Syracuse". Every year it's 1-2 losses that should not have happened. That's MarioBall in a nutshell.
