As a Falcons fan I am extremely excited to see what Hank can do with a good QB like Ryan. There is a lot of talk that he could eventually replace the declining Roddy White.

"Leonard Hankerson, who played for the Redskins when offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan held the same job in Washington, has been the best wide receiver at Flowery Branch thus far.

He's made his presence felt on the outside and over the middle; he’s displayed great hands; and, perhaps most importantly, he seems to be gaining the trust of Matt Ryan.

“I’m just doing what I got to do, putting in the work,” the former Miami Hurricane said. “Coming in, doing your job, being consistent and making things happen.”

New head coach Dan Quinn is happy with Hankerson’s progression and views the 6-foot-2 receiver as an integral part of the offense moving forward.

“I think it’s the length, he’s got such a big catching radius,” Quinn said. “You’ve probably seen some of the sideline plays, he’s got such a knack for keeping it in bounds and going to stretch for the ball, so that’s probably one of the biggest things that stand out for me with Hankerson.”

Hester is their number 3 and as far as being a WR Hankerson is better than Hester. He should be right there behind white and Julio, both who have struggled with injuries. I'm going to stash him away in fantasy leagues.

Bad defense, they are going to throw and when one of white or jones gets hurt he's going to get targets. I see at least 600 yards to a possible 850 with anywhere from 3-6 TD receptions. Especially in a Kyle Shanahan offense

I was excited when the Redskins drafted him, but unfortunately he had several big injuries that kept him off the field and then when he got on he started to revert to his early years at Miami and would drop the ball frequently. Hopefully when the lights are on he is able to overcome the yips.

It also didn't help that he was playing for the clown show that is the Washington Redskins; maybe he can do well with a better organization with a real QB.
