Once a fan base, donors, trustees, etc go from loving the coach (Al Golden year 1) to liking him (during Nevin crap) to strong dislike (now) the handwriting is on the wall. It is one thing to lose, another thing how we lose! No one who supports this team should and will accept this level of mediocrity. At some point, even your best customers get tired of the B.S excuses.
Buy-out or no buy-out, unless we win Coastal he will be gone (I predict he takes another job, before getting fired). Once a fan base turns you are kaput. It does not take 4 yrs to win one game against a quality opponent. Bad scheme, bad prep, bad coaching, bad game planning, etc. Good coach for a school that accepts 8-4 as a great season. Wrong fit here.
