Looking at Gore (and he looks real good) I’m seeing a shoe in for a HOF. Anyone else from that team? A. Johnson. E. Reed. Vince? Bryant?

Gore and Reed are locks. Vince and Johnson are on the bubble. Bryant not a chance
I think 4 of them make it. Dre makes it because for a stretch he was outright elite and was the best WR in the league along with Fitzgerald. What will be held against him is that he didn’t reach the playoffs often. Vince was a dominant NT but his position didn’t exactly rack up stats. Still he played and won with the Patriots. Bryant won’t even get nominated.

That’s my take for both of them. Andre was elite but he didn’t have much success in the postseason. His team only reach there once or twice and that will be held against him which is why he’s not a lock/first ballot. With Wilfork due to his position he doesn’t have those numbers that would ‘wow’ you. He was one of the best nose stuffing tackles of his area and his job was too attract two OL’s which he did exceptionally well. His dominance was not reflected in his stats which why I don’t think he’s a first ballot.

LoL at Dre and Vince on the bubble....Just stop it....
nose tackles don't get in because they don't rack up stats. the only one in the hall was all-pro from his rookie year until he retired back in the 40s and 50s. i hope the voters can at least look at his influence on the field that drove the pats defense and not just the stat sheet.

Reed is a lock, first ballot. Start making the bust now. What’s his jacket size?

Gore? Not a lock. At least not first ballot. Probably will get in as he ends up in the Top 5 all-time rushing yards, due to longevity.
Dre is not first ballot either, he will be dinged for not being on good teams.
Vince? Great DT but dominates differently than a player like Sapp or Randle.

Shockey’s career was too short. He flashed HOF ability but won’t have the numbers.

Think in time Bryant and Vince will get in.takes linemen longer to get but eventually they do get in.it's to us fans to help with that.keep those names in the limelight.

mckinnie is not getting in. he has been in one pro bowl.

Wilfork, reed, andre johnson, maybe vince and Reggie Wayne from the 2000 should get in

Look at some of the players that have been inducted...a lot of politics involved IMO.

Edgerrin James still isn't in.

Vince playing on great teams might help him, Johnson put up great numbers on a **** team with a **** QB. His numbers are better than WRs already in. I think he gets in eventually.

Wayne gets in eventually. He’s lumped in with Issac Bruce, Dre, Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, others. The HOF probably isn’t taking multiple WRs in any given year. And Fitzgerald will be first ballot.

I think we need 2 more to jump into 4th place all time. Early deaths cost us at least two—ST and Jerome. We need Butch back for 4 or 5 more years to catch ND.

In some form or another..Butch was either responsible for...or heavily involved with the recruitment of...
Irvin
Blades
Maryland
Winston Moss
Stubbs
(Jerome was Howard)
Tez
Edge
Wayne
Dorsey
Morgan
Reed
Sean
Wilfork
James Jackson
Portis
Mcgahee
Gore
Jack Fernandez
Tiger Clark
Mira Jr...and a Plethora more....F-ing Staggering...and Untouchable
