I've been waiting so long the disapointment is hard to take. All the accolades were too much and we got unreasonable expectations but worse is that it made this team forget every team is dangerous and requires 100 percent effort every game. I hurt for new fans who never got to experience what we had in 2001 and the 80's. Sorry guys. I kmow ND with a ridiculous loss last year made it to the final, the pain of this loss makes it difficult to think we have the fortitude or desire, talent yes, commitment????

the hard part for me is when the talent advantage isnt as drastic as it is right now in the playoffs, how are we gonna out coach anyone? youre going against teams w equal talent come playoff time mostly.

Because ironically most of the teams that make the playoffs do so because they are more talented not better coached.
 
Every thing I read says we got out coached, the defensive backs said they had not seen the plays that Louisville ran on film. We had 2 weeks to prepare, at home, and we get this performance? We also had players say we have had success and we run the same offense yet our opponent comes in with a whole new scheme...what will Mario do next week? Same ole, Same ole???
