GT has cancelled most of its fall schedule for football

In an “Abundance of caution” Several football games cancelled. Miami and Georgia were among the cancelled games. I hope this does not become more widespread.

I really don't think with this pandemic and all that is going on to slow / stop it is wise for any type of huge gatherings and will "not" happen this year at all. We can't take the chance of this reinfecting anyone right after it's rampage .

We all should be rejoicing when this pandemic eases and take what we have learned and use it to prepare immediately for the flu / virus season immediately, then and only then when we can see if how we do.

There may also have to be a liquor lock down at future games do to the arrogance ( we've all seen how bad people get under the influence ) and all that liquor brings in being unsafe and inconsiderate of others during the recovery.

If you don't like people drinking at a football game, first of all you are a gaping ******. Second of all, go sit in the family section where alcohol isnt served and let the men enjoy their spirits without ruining things for the rest of us.

Obviously you haven't seen the tailgating enough to understand that people will not care who they cough on or touch as long as they have a drink in there hand , why you can't grasp this is a mystery.

It's like drinking and driving or having a gun on you it's deadly , with this being said I want to make sure I understand you.

As long as you have your booze and a good buzz on you really don't care if your unknowingly a carrier and infect the person next to you and takes it home to there family and causes a death of choking gaging sufficating to death then you hear of death on the news a go OH WELL SAD Cane won that's important as long as your buzz is strong correct?

If this is so sad....

I've already come to peace that football will not happen this year. B/c people are hard headed and not taking this seriously, I feel way more restrictions will be opposed upon all of us/ w/ set curfews and everything. This chit happened during the LA Riots.....people were put in shelter in place unless for essentials, and mofos took that as opportunity to go hang....then hella strict curfews were imposed w/ National Guards put in place. There are some whispers up here in The Bay about going this route.

To your first point, I've been tailgating for Canes games since 2003 and only missed two home games in that span. I am pretty well versed in that area (Green Lot, stand up!).

To your second point, I agree that drinking and driving is dangerous but I have no idea what that has to do with banning alcohol from football games. I also have my concealed weapons permit and carry a firearm with me everywhere I am legally allowed to (again, not sure what this has to do with alcohol at football games).

To your third point, what in God's name does being a Covid-19 carrier have anything at all to do with alcohol sales at a football game? Between your logic, spelling, and grammar, I feel like I am speaking to someone with a disability so I apologize for my harsh remarks earlier. Enjoy the family section, while I enjoy my adult beverages and tailgate... that is, if you even go to football games. GO CANES

Taking shots at me fall short of the target , because I don't give a HOOT , I dumped PRIDE many years ago the best thing I every did " pride before fall " so that takes care of offending me good reading though LMAO :)

Tailgating is now extinct imo. And we all know that without it, the stadium will be mostly empty since most folks show up primarily because of tailgating.

There is approximately 0 chance we see fans at sporting events at 2020, and 2021 remains in doubt until a vaccine is widely available.
 
obviously fake, but realistically, you should prepare for the possibility of no football or sports until 2021. w no vax, itll just be an on and off quarantining in the fall esp w the possibility of it returning (if it even subsides in the summer). i dont anticipate anything continuing again. i doubt theyd play a shortened spring season either bc no draft eligible juniors or seniors would play in that scenario esp considering the NFL (with or without a season) wont move their draft day
