I haven’t watched them yet but is their QB getting the ball out very quickly or is their OL actually legit? I know Key is like Mario an OL coach by trade but still.

8th in total offense, 49th in scoring offense. You’d think a tech school would place more of an emphasis on efficiency. Also, 128th in rushing D. That’s fireable, whoever their DC is lol. The season is young, though.

They “demoted” their DC yesterday. Probably won’t see wholesale changes but it was noteworthy nonetheless.

They have some options to hurt some of our blitzes but their defense is D'Onofrio silly. Run the ball until they quit.

Pretty good offensively, but sorry in the redzone. Pressure until they hit the 20 and then taper down.

I like that the HC did this… was hoping that MC did the same with Gattis last season. He kind of discussed “being respectful of coaches and their careers” after the change but I’d like to know what CIS thoughts are on it?

I can see both sides but if a guy is in over his head do you let him run your offense or defense in the ground out of respect for him?

I had 38-17 good guys. Roughly 200 yards rushing & 250-300 yards passing. We'll take some deep shots and have uptempo moments to appease the recruits in house, but ultimately we will shorten the game and try to get out as healthy as possible for the real season that begins @ UNC the following week.

The Mario firing Gatass during the season was discussed in depth. Many couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t/didn’t but only Mario knows why. The situation could be, and was, looked at from many different perspectives.

Haven’t taken a deep dive into GT’s situation but their D’s performance thus far as been ***. It would be just speculation as to why their HC made this move now.

Do you think the coaches game plan with visiting recruits at a game?
