People are nervous because of the last time we had a start like this it was a fluke. We all know VT isnt one of these elite teams that will end up in the top 4 but its a team that has given us fits and they have proven to be a very stout squad. Combine this with the fact that this is looked at as "our first obstacle" and the complaining fans will find something wrong. Personally I think we field the best Canes team we will see this year just based on the nerves that this is a crucial home night game, and alot is at stake right now.

I am a UM alum. I have 3 degrees from UM. I am a member of the Hurricane Club. I am a season ticket holder. I have never rooted for any other college team other than UM in any sport since I accepted my academic scholarship offer to UM in 1985.

But I am a "groupie". Because I think that "KrazyCane" is a self-inflated tuff-talker.
