Great Breakdown of the Front 7

Excellent piece. Thanks for sharing. There's so much more in depth info available to the common fan nowadays.

Really nice piece highlighting one thing we should all be honored to watch: one of the deepest DLs we've ever had at the University of Miami. It's insanity.

The DE position is crazy deep and we lost Patchan to offense and D-Jax to injury! The DT position is excellent and G. Willis is sitting out!

this is like the 2002 unit but with MUCH better coaching....

I enjoyed the piece but this caught my attention...... "fun and swagger that’s uniquely Miami."

Something only the U family can understand. Great piece

For X&O illiterate like myself, why does the author of this piece suggest teams run a bear front against our offense?

We are winning the title this year because of our DL. There is simply no way to effectively play offense against us.

The aggressiveness and violence that this team plays with is something that our fans have been wanting as long as I’ve been on canes boards (13 years). Even back when we had highly ranked defenses with Randy after 03, a lot of folks complained that we weren’t aggressive enough and didn’t really challenge offenses.

This is the defensive style we’ve dreamed of. Enjoy this season.

My illiterate guess is the linebacker head up with the center forces Gauthier to account for him instead of the second level?

Great breakdown of the defense.... terrible assessment of our qb situation.

Malik Rosier is better than Jalen Hurt... and has played better than these so called prototypical qbs like Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold. I would rather have Rosier than any of the qbs I just mentioned. His competition ain't Aaron Rogers or Tom Brady the rest of the field ain't elite.

Rosier is a winner, has done a great job running the offense overall, and getting better as the season goes on. We can definitely win a championship with him behind center.

loved the article but some of the air went out when i got to the stuff on our offense and malik. totally agree that richt has been masking his weaknesses the last few weeks. lets hope malik continues to improve and can get richards more involved.

Speed kills. That’s bad news for any of the top teams whose offense is based around a gap-run scheme (hello, Alabama). And it’s equally bad news for those who’ll have to face Miami’s front without two potential first-round picks (hello, everybody else).
