I’ll preface this by saying - this Hypothetical is massively flawed - the reason for presenting it is to get as many pros and cons as possible in one thread to create better recruiting philosophy.

With that said....

Being that we have a team that is trending up and is successful on the field thus far, would it be a better strategy to take whoever wants to commit early (Couch, Brown, Sanders Juco bro, Brantley etc) as well as continue going after targets regardless of numbers early on and sort out later?

Or is the current focus on a,b,c players only and hope for flips or other uncommitted to be available as backups?

I know y’all have great opinions so all aboard!

No.. Thats how you burn bridges with these local schools. We dont need that. Rather have them being transparent
BS that we have to be the only school that has to deal with this. FSU and UF move on from kids all the time. Richt and staff are doing everything to help local hs coaches but this threat of burning bridges if you decide to move on from a kid is BS. This isn't Al Golden that can be push around by high school coaches man this is ******* Mark Richt.
