Good morning, friends.

It is indeed a beautiful morning. A crisp late summer Saturday morning here in The Village.

A very special Saturday morning. The first Saturday of college football.

I just went for a lovely walk and I’m now back in my apartment. As I lounge on my top grain leather sofa, preparing to make breakfast for me and Kenneth, I just wanted to share a few thoughts I had.

These are exciting times for Canes fans. As we prepare to embark on Mario’s debut season, there are high expectations. Optimism is abound!

But we must remember, while there will no doubt be soaring highs in the days and weeks ahead, there will also be crippling lows. Rome was not built overnight and it’s going to take time to climb back to the mountaintop.

I hope we can be cognizant of that and remain somewhat patient through whatever storms this Hurricane season throws at us.

Remember, through it all, we are one big Canes family and we all bleed green + orange, no matter how many games we may win or lose.

I love you all.

Nothing like college football brother and sisters may we all strap our helmets on tight and enjoy the ride of the greatest sport on earth.
