WE did play last time. That was some sad Big 10 team coached by a bunch of fat yankees. The Miami Hurricanes are coming to town this weekend. You are in for an eye opening experience. There is a reason uf could get a replacement coach and fsu is losing their coach. They places know their easy times are over. We'll be playing some Cane football from now on, not this 1970s crap Bama has taken you all back to.

Tigers start out slow (I know: going out on a limb), but by the half, they will have a double-digit lead. Third quarter (we'll get the ball first), and the gap in talent will become more evident as the Tigers pull away. Third quarter ends at 35-10. Ones and twos put another score up, and the reserves come in at 7:00 left for mop-up duties.

At that time I had no knowledge of the fact that our own university president was actively working to diminish our football program. Now that she is gone and FSU seems to be in decline, I expect this will be the first of a handful of meetings between our two teams.
