"Non-seniors have been told not to speak with agents or there will be consequences.” DraftInsider.net publisher Tony Pauline has reported that several sources are saying that Al Golden is trying to force underclassmen to return next year. Is he sick or what? Some of these kids can get a good contract with in the NFL, and not risk being injured in their senior year. This tells me that Golden is afraid of what next year , without his good seniors , will bring. It also tells me that the AD and the BOT, as of now, have told him that he has next year to prove himself. As far as I am concerned, his time is up. I believe that over 90% of the fan base want him gone. It seems like he has also lost the team. I will never attend another UM game as long as he is at the U. I will not renew my season tickets, and several of my friends refuse to renew or attend.
This Administration is pathetic and is ignoring the facts.

Look on the brightside

before the bowl game starts the cane players could simply walk over to the gamecock sidelines and just start a massive brawl

then burn a cross in the middle of the football field

People need to remember what happened after 2011. There were a lot of juniors who got suckered into leaving by these agents looking for a quick dime. These rules PROTECT the players, period.

Yes, there are rules in place about agents. But there are "ways" to be in contact with an agent without direct contact- like having mom sit with an agent. I do not trust Golden's motives.

And they will get paid if they decide to leave. Just follow the rules. Golden can't MAKE them stay, period. He can make them follow the rules and act like team leaders while they are here. Nothing wrong with that. As soon as they declare, good luck to both of them. I think Flowers will lose millions going early. Duke should go before he gets injured and loses a big pay day. I think that is what most people are feeling, including Golden.
The article specially mentioned Duke and Flowers- both of whom probably will be successes in the NFL.

Stupid article since we are only talking about "Flowers".... Duke is gone and Flowers had a "meh" year, but the talent is there to go this year... Otherwise, NO ONE else is anywhere near ready...

Look I hate golden but some of you guys try to spin any dumb **** anyway you can... they ask for a draft grade. He can't do **** about it.
