Now, on to the new coach predictions, suggestions and hopeful hires.

Here are some of my worthless thoughts:

1) A "Quality Name", a recruiting magnet "Name", needs to be announced ASAP.

2) We all have a very good idea of the money situation. Adidas and conference
bowl/playoff splits have added substantially TheU's coffers so, money is not
a problem. At least it better not be!

The coach needs to have a proven record of recruiting The State of Miami and
a clear understanding of the Canes Culture.

Regarding Butch and Strong, the bulk of the radio talk seems to feel Butch is a
mediocre "game day coach". And Strong is a great operator but not a builder.

What say you?

I say Golden HAD to go at 2014 season's end and that 10-11 months have been wasted that could have been used to acclimate a new coach.

The BEST thing for UM would be to hire Butch now. Get him a jump start, even if we allow Scott to coach out.
