Does Golden actively pursue the Rutgers job through his agent in light of their BIG 10 move?

If Golden comes to us behind the scenes and asks us to "eat" a portion of his buyout.....do we do it?

Does Miami immediately hire Mario Cristobal (at a reasonable 2.5 mil per year), give James Coley a huge raise and gut the rest of the coaching staff minus Hurlie Brown and Tim Harris?

If Golden leaves do we totally blow this thing up and start over with an entirely new staff?

Gonna be interesting.....

Honestly, with what he has shown in his short time as an OC, his ability to develop talent, his eye for scouting the most important position on the field, and his recruiting ability, I say slide him right into a HC job.

We will never bring in a HC like Saban, Les, Urban ect. We have always gone with the un-proven young buck and make them great coaches.

I think keeping continuity with Coley for the sake of Kayaa and how special he can be, you make sure Coley stays around.

Take the Larry Coker approach?

Except every guy coley is bring in is $$$ he's got the swag and can recruit I think he gets IT more than golden at the U.. With more experience he would be a fantastic HC

You are comparing a 53 year old white guy (at the time he took over) to a 41 year old up and coming coach who recruits his *** off, and has that Latino flare.

short anwer: yes, the Larry Coker approach.

all you guys are talking about who would be the HC..I'd be more curious as to who the DC would be

How many times does it need to be explained that Miami needs great coaches, football guys. Not recruiters with swag. It's as if 30 years of documented history gets ignored. Stop spewing nonsense about the kind of coaches we hired here

I don't know about the Cristobal thing..

But holy **** it would be Christmas come early if that mother ****** left for another job and saved us the buyout.

First, it means that Al is going to leave the program and take Doritos with him! Let's start with that part! Please make this happen!!!
