Rewatched the game today, saw Goldberg came into game for last two kneel down plays at end of game. Had never heard of him, he looked tiny, see on roster he’s listed at 6’2”, 205lb OL.

Cool move by staff to get him in game, good for him and other the other walk ons. A lot of work invested by them for realistically no shot at playing time.

Yeah, I love that Richt put in a bunch of backups for the kneel down. Very classy. Some of those guys may never see the field again. Certainly not against ND. Great move. Heck, even Shirreffs seemed excited to go in and simply kneel down.

Goldberg was number 59, he will have a great tale to tell his kids.

Goldberg came to Miami at around 320, and was incredibly unathletic. Towards the end of his sophomore year he decided he didn't want to be big anymore and started losing more and more weight. Now he has one of the lowest body fats on the team and is shredded, albeit being 205 pounds playing on the line isn't easy. Great guy and has been a very hard worker his entire career here.
