As bad as things are, the reality is that Dabo was a 6-7 dead man walking at Clemson at the end of his third season. Lots of ups and downs but he eventually figured it out. Diaz has the same opportunity, but he has to get rid of the entire defensive staff. The O is light years better than last year, even with the terrible personnel we have. D has no reason to be as bad as it is.

He can do it, but I'm not optimistic. Dabo getting destroyed by WVU was the wake-up call he needed to get over the hump. Hopefully, this game will be the same for Diaz.
